TV Mounting, Assembly & Hanging.
East Brunswick & Middlesex County, NJ.
East Brunswick Handyman handles tv mounting & assembly in East Brunswick, Old Bridge, Sayreville, Edison, Woodbridge, and the rest of Middlesex County. Most of this fits in a single $295 visit. We find the studs, use the right anchors for the wall, build the flat-pack without leftover screws, and hang everything level the first time. Bring the pile of boxes and the list of things leaning against the wall.
What We Do
- TV mounting on drywall, plaster, or brick, anchored into studs or masonry
- Fixed, tilting, and full-motion mounts (yours or ours)
- Cable concealment in a surface raceway, or through the wall to an existing outlet
- Furniture, IKEA, and flat-pack assembly
- Grill, patio set, and outdoor furniture assembly
- Shelving, floating shelves, and closet systems
- Mirrors, artwork, and gallery walls
- Blinds, shades, and curtain rods
Not On Our Menu, And Why
- Adding a new outlet behind the TV (new wiring needs a permit and an electrician; we'll route to an existing one)
- Mounting above a working gas fireplace without a proper heat plan
- Soundbar and home-theater wiring beyond plug-and-play

Straight Answers
Can you mount a TV where there's no stud?
Yes, with the right anchors for the wall type and the TV's weight, but we'd rather hit framing. We locate studs first, and if the spot you want lands between them we use a mount with a wide wall plate that reaches two studs. For plaster and brick we use masonry anchors rated well above the TV's weight.
Do you hide the cables?
Two ways. A paintable surface raceway is quick and works on any wall. Running the HDMI and power cord through the wall works when there's an outlet on that wall already. What we don't do is add a new outlet behind the TV: new wiring needs a permit and an electrician.
Should I buy the mount or do you bring one?
Either. If you've bought one, we'll use it. If not, the truck carries fixed and tilting mounts for common sizes at cost, shown on your invoice.
Do you assemble IKEA furniture?
All of it. PAX wardrobes, kitchen islands, bed frames, desks. Have the boxes in the room where the piece will live and we'll take it from there, including anchoring tall pieces to the wall.
